FAQs

When is the best time to stop by?

My schedule at Thirteen Roses is Wednesday thru Saturday 12-9. My availability varies daily according to bookings. If you stop by and I am with a client I may not be able to break away to come speak to you in the moment, so it’s best to call ahead before coming in. The best way to guarantee my availability is to schedule an in person consultation here.

How much is my tattoo going to cost?

Walk-in minimum is $100. Hourly Rate is $200 per hour. Booking minimum is 2 hours ($400). Half day (3-4 hours) flat rate $600. Full day (6-8 hours) flat rate $1200. Rates still vary dependent on tattoo design but will never go over any of these amounts in any session.

How long have you been doing this?

I worked my first job as a receptionist in a tattoo studio in 1999. I weaved in and out of studios learning the industry and finally began tattooing professionally in 2007.

Will I see my design before my appointment?

The short answer is no. I schedule appointment blocks with the first hour in account for design share, approval and changes if need be. I prefer this all be done together face to face.

What is your favorite style to tattoo?

Short answer long: As a multi-faceted artist, it’s challenging to pin point my favorite. I am constantly learning and adopting new techniques that keep me finding new styles to enjoy. Some fun styles I thrive in are influenced by graphic animation art, Art Nuevo and Deco, Neo-Traditional, and illustrative. I enjoy bold blended color but also love creating dynamic black pieces.

Are you looking for an apprentice?

Currently, I am not. Please, follow my journey when creating Eclipse Holistic Tattoo. There may be opportunity in the future.

Tattoo the Zoo

I believe that art has the power to inspire change and foster a sense of responsibility towards our world. My mission is to combine my passion for art with a deep commitment to animal conservation. I’m driven to make an ongoing positive impact on the animal kingdom through creating custom designs featuring resident animals from the Saint Louis Zoo. I am donating a portion of earnings from these tattoos to their conservation efforts.
